SAMI got spruced up on Friday evening to attend the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards 2012. The effort was worth it, as we were absolutely delighted to be awarded with 3rd place in this year’s event. Make some more space in the awards cabinet!!
So for the 3rd year running SAMI has finished in the top 3 in these awards. SAMI was the overall winner in 2010 and finished runner-up last year. Rankings are based on average percentage revenue growth over five years. Congrats to this years overall winners Ezetop. Previous winners of the event include Daft Media Ltd., PulseLearning and Populis.
Our CEO Dualta was thrilled with the result, “Being ranked in the top 3 for the 3rd year running brings as much satisfaction as winning the event outright in 2010. It shows that SAMI is consistently delivering for its customers and as a company. This award is a great recognition of the effort that the team has put in over the last number of years, so I’m delighted for them”.
We’d like to thank all the students, schools and charities who have supported us over the last 9 years. It’s great to get recognition from awards such as the Deloitte Fast 50, but it’s really the support and positive feedback we get from customers that make it worthwhile.
At SAMI, we are not ones to rest on our laurels however, we like to look forward. It’s been an extremely busy year developing new solutions. The way students study is about to change, with the launch of ExamTime. With ExamTime, students will be given tools specifically designed to help them understand, learn and remember – everything required to ace that exam. Our big launch is coming very very soon, so stay tuned!
The re-launch of our Edvance school management solution is also attracting big interest amongst primary schools in Ireland. Edvance is now the most comprehensive school management system available to primary schools in Ireland, making school administration easier and introducing collaborative learning to the classroom.
So this award is just the icing on the cake after a really exciting year. But we think it might just be the beginning….
