So, Christmas is long forgotten, January has rolled around once more, which must mean it’s IPPN Conference time again!
If you’re a primary school principal, we’d love to see you at this year’s Conference, so please come over and say hello to Henry, Ken & Sarah at stand number F5.
We always look forward to meeting our customers in person, and this year we have a very special software licensing offer, available only for Conference week.
We’ll be busy at our stand throughout the event, but we’ve had a look at the schedule for delegates at www.ippn.ie and it seems the organisers have really outdone themselves this year with the line-up of speakers and events.
For example;
- Lord David Puttnam will speak on Day 1, and no doubt he will ruffle a few feathers given that the former film director turned education activist (and Irish resident) has strong opinions on Education in the UK and Ireland
- Former President of Ireland, Mary Robinson also addresses the Conference and the sheer breadth of her career and achievements should lead to an illuminating talk
- And there are many other interesting speakers, such as Ben Walden, Ruari Quinn, Michael Fullen and of course new IPPN President Gerry Murphy
- Plus there are personal development and wellness sessions
The theme of the Conference this year is ‘Forging a Future’, and given that Education and the country in general, has rarely been in such a state of uncertainty, the theme is very apt. SAMI (and our fellow exhibitors) hope to continue contributing to ‘forging a (better) future’ for our schoolchildren through our products, as well as contributing to the country through our economic activity.
And our favourite way to do this is by meeting our customers face-to-face!
So, we look forward to seeing you at the Expo, and we hope you all have a productive Conference
